The UQK type liquid level switch belongs to a two position level instrument. When the liquid level reaches the high and low limit positions, the electrical contacts inside the controller can control the signal alarm device to sound an alarm or the electric pump to start and stop.

Working principle

The controller consists of two main parts: a float group and a contact group. When the measured liquid level rises or falls, the float

(1) Lift and lower accordingly, making the magnetic steel at its end

(2) Swinging up and down, installed on the casing through magnetic repulsion

(3) Magnetic steel with the same magnetic pole inside

(4) Swing up and down. The contact on the other end

(5) Connect or disconnect the static contacts 1-1 and 2-2, and then the signal device in the circuit will emit light or sound signals, or turn on or off the electric pump for liquid supply or collection.

The float and components made of stainless steel have good corrosion resistance. The float action part of the controller is isolated from the contact group, thus avoiding the common leakage defects of liquid level relays.

Installation precautions

1. Pay attention to the orientation of the bolt holes during installation, and the user should provide their own concave flange.

2. Wiring should use a 10mm outer diameter five core rubber sheathed soft or rubber cable, with one core as the internal grounding wire. The other four cores are used to connect a pair of normally open and normally closed contacts. All wiring terminals should be reliably connected, and the output nuts should be properly tightened to prevent loose leads.

3. Explosion proof type: Each explosion-proof joint surface must not have scratches, bumps, or paint, but it is allowed to apply an appropriate amount of anti paper paint and lubricating oil.

4. Strictly follow the regulations for the use of explosion-proof electrical equipment during operation to ensure safety.

5. The fluctuation frequency of the measured medium liquid level should not be too high and should not contain magnetic impurities.

6. The contact capacity is for resistive loads. If non resistive loads are used, intermediate relays should be used for conversion.
